Dr. Mario Saracino


Dr. Mario Saracino studied at Broome Community College, Binghamton, New York, and the State University of New York at Binghamton (SUNY Binghamton) where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology (2000). He went on to earn his Doctorate of Optometry and Master in Vision Science at The Ohio State University College of Optometry in Columbus, Ohio (2004). This dual degree program allowed him to participate with the development and analysis of many research projects focusing on the science behind the human visual system. Dr. Saracino and his colleagues’ work have been featured in top optometric and ophthalmologic journals such as Optometry and Vision Science and Archives of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Saracino enjoys practicing full scope optometry which includes routine vision exams, diabetic eye exams, treatment of pink eye, pediatric exams, contact lens fittings, and more.

Outside of the practice, Dr. Saracino enjoys visiting with family from Upstate New York to Denver, Colorado. He also enjoys practicing the guitar.
